A Special Message from the Founder of eQ Foundation
It’s been 1 year since eQ Foundation became a registered charity, and what a year it has been! From humble beginnings, we have made a huge difference to kids around the world. We are so grateful for your donations and we feel blessed to be able to share our impact so far…
19,765 Days of Education
In other words, we have provided 1 year of education for 100 children around the world – in Bali, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Borneo, Nambia, Kenya, Ethopia and Zambia. The children range from preschoolers to high school students. We have helped disadvantaged children and children living in villages and remote areas. We have also sponsored homeless and blind children. In some communities where is it custom to only offer higher education to boys, we have focused on providing funding to girls to give them the same opportunities of a brighter future and a chance to escape a life of poverty as boys have.
4551 Learning Tools
We have provided children with picture books, notebooks, pens, pencils, textbooks and access to computers. Some of the projects we sponsor include meals and fresh water. Some of the funding has contributed to school fees and teachers’ wages. All of these contributions are having a very positive impact on the world we live in, which is amazing!
100% of the funds sent overseas (around $13,000) have gone directly to the causes we support!
Continuing our aid overseas and launching eQ youth is our focus for the rest of the year. We are busy getting schools on board with our after school program, which is very exciting! Our vision is to empower youth to go out into the world and be the best they can possibly be, by providing an inspirational and supportive learning environment to compliment traditional education in this country. Our goal is to teach children right here in Australia how to live on purpose; to dream believe – create – surrender – succeed and celebrate!
