How would you like to be remembered?

education-6Change the life of a child. What does your inner child say to you?

Honestly, mine sometimes sheds a few tears, sometimes more, and I tell her everything is perfect, so what do I mean by saying that? Could it be our inner child prompts us to remember that we came here for love, to learn and experience? We all would like to experience the beautiful things that life has to offer – love, happiness, health, spirituality, abundance, freedom and so on. The absolute truth is that we are all able to attract these things into our lives with ease and grace. What I have noticed is that we get in our own way sometimes and while on our journey we humans do some pretty crazy things in order to get there when the simplest way to attain these things is often the path we overlook.

If you were to ask Peter Conna what inspires him, it’s providing education for 1000 children this year in developing countries, and beyond 2013 serving children and communities in need both here in Australia and around the world.

With so many charities out there, so many worthy causes, how do we know where to begin to offer our time or money? I will share my thoughts on the matter because I truly believe it’s our inner child that speaks to our hearts and reminds us what to do in life. Sometimes we listen and sometimes we don’t. We all know that feeling when our inner child is with us because we simply experience joy. If we could learn to listen more and be an educated person willing to entertain a new idea we can have our hearts desire by following our purpose, so with eQ foundation now becoming a reality I am grateful to my inner child who gave me strength to follow my heart and keep on following it day after day.

We all desire validation, connection, and purpose, even if we haven’t yet worked out what our true calling is, and that’s ok. We can instantly create a moment of connection to the world in which we live by validating, connecting, and giving purpose to the lives the 72 million children worldwide and their children and generations to follow. To contribute and provide education the world’s children that currently don’t go to school, and their parents, who by the way, want the exact same thing we want for our own children, to have a happy childhood and a bright shiny inspirational future. It’s also the simplest way to reach our own goals and the real beauty of the project is so simple that it touches our hearts and speaks to our inner child, and what we really do is connect to ourselves.

Jump on board, get involved, sign up for the eQ foundation membership and it will open the doors not only for the children, but in truth for yourself. Please be a part of breaking the cycle of poverty. Childhood most definitely should really be a happy time. For the fabulous people within the eQ community who have already jumped in and signed up thank you for following your heart.

I will leave you with one question that I will be asking to all of the people we interview.

How would you like to be remembered? I ask you to think about it for a minute.
